Reflexionen zur qualitativen Forschung in einer pandemischen Situation

Abstract

Dieser Beitrag reflektiert über die qualitative Forschung, insbesondere die Interviewforschung, in der COVID-19 Pandemie. Die Situation der Forscher:innen, der Forschungseinrichtungen, der Ethikkommissionen, der Interviewpartner:innen, der verwendeten Methoden, der Zusammensetzung von Forschungsteams, der Reisemöglichkeiten usw. hat sich verändert und damit neue Aspekte in den Vordergrund gerückt, die früher als selbstverständlich betrachtet und deshalb nicht reflektiert wurden. Dies ist nun die Chance die qualitative Forschung weiterzuentwickeln. Dazu wird der State of the Art in der Literatur zusammengefasst. In den letzten zwei Jahren sind zahlreiche Publikationen zu diesen Aspekten entstanden. Anschließend wird über eine qualitative Studie, die Statements und Diskussionen von qualitativen Forscher:innen analysiert, berichtet. Die Ergebnisse zeigen die Spannungsfelder, in denen sich verschiedene Akteur:innen befinden und über die reflektiert werden muss.
